Activating an AVG TuneUp subscription

 

AVG TuneUp for Windows is a paid product that requires a subscription to use. After installing AVG TuneUp, you may need to manually activate your paid subscription using a valid activation code or your AVG Account.

AVG TuneUp Premium for Mac is a paid product that requires a subscription to use. After installing AVG TuneUp Premium, you may need to manually activate your paid subscription using a valid activation code or your AVG Account.

Your chosen activation method:

Enter activation code

To activate AVG TuneUp using an activation code:

  1. Locate your activation code. This is included in your order confirmation email. For detailed instructions, refer to the following article:
  2. Double-click the AVG TuneUp icon on your Windows desktop to open the application. For alternative options to open AVG TuneUp, refer to the following article:
  3. Go to Menu ▸ Enter activation code.
  4. Type or paste your activation code (including hyphens) into the text box, then click Enter.
  5. If more than one product is associated with your activation code, ensure the products you want to use are selected, then click Activate & install.

    The products you selected are installed and activated automatically.

Your AVG TuneUp subscription is now active. If activation is unsuccessful, refer to the Still need help? section in this article.

  2. Double-click the AVG TuneUp icon in your Applications folder to open the application. For alternative options to open AVG TuneUp, refer to the following article:
  3. Click Insert activation code on the main application screen, ...or click AVG TuneUp ▸ Insert activation code in the Apple menu bar.
  4. Type or paste your activation code (including hyphens) into the text box, then click Activate.

Your AVG TuneUp subscription is now active. If activation is unsuccessful, refer to the Still need help? section in this article.

If you purchased AVG TuneUp (Multi-Device), you can use the same activation code to activate AVG TuneUp on your Windows, Mac, and Android devices.

To confirm which subscription you purchased, check your order confirmation email or the AVG Account that contains your AVG TuneUp subscription.

Sign in to AVG Account

An AVG Account was created using the email address that you provided during the subscription purchase. To sign into your AVG Account for the first time, refer to the following article: Activating your AVG Account.

To activate AVG TuneUp using your AVG Account:

  1. Double-click the AVG TuneUp icon on your Windows desktop to open the application. For alternative options to open AVG TuneUp, refer to the following article:
  2. Go to Menu ▸ Sign in.
  3. Enter the credentials for the AVG Account that contains your AVG TuneUp subscription, then click Sign in.
  4. If your AVG Account contains more valid subscriptions, ensure the products you want to use are selected, then click Activate & install.

    The products you selected are installed and activated automatically.

Your AVG TuneUp subscription is now active. If activation is unsuccessful, refer to the Still need help? section in this article.

  1. Double-click the AVG TuneUp icon in your Applications folder to open the application. For alternative options to open AVG TuneUp, refer to the following article:
  2. Click Sign in in the top-right corner of the application screen.
  3. Select Sign in to existing account.
  4. Enter the credentials for the AVG Account that contains your AVG TuneUp subscription, then click Sign in.

Your AVG TuneUp subscription is now active. If activation is unsuccessful, refer to the Still need help? section in this article.
