Troubleshooting activation issues in AVG products

Check your AVG Account

Before you try to activate your AVG product again, we recommend first checking that your subscription is valid, and that the subscription is linked to your AVG Account.

Follow the steps below:

  1. Sign in to your AVG Account and click the Subscriptions tile.
  2. Verify that the subscription that you want to activate appears on the My Subscriptions screen.
  3. If the subscription does not appear on the My Subscriptions screen, it is not linked to your AVG Account. In this case, we recommend contacting AVG Support so that we can manually link your AVG subscription to your AVG Account.
  4. If the subscription does appear on the My Subscriptions screen, check the Subscription status. You may see one of the following statuses:
    • Expired: Your subscription has expired. You need to purchase a new subscription before you can activate and use the product.
    • Subscribed / Expiring: You have a valid subscription. Follow the instructions below to activate your product.
