Anti-Spam (AVG Business Management Consoles)
Anti-spam ensures that the inbox in your mail management software is free from unwanted spam, junk emails, and phishing scams. This feature applies to email clients installed on your devices. You can configure the active Anti-spam settings with features such as:
- the sensitivity of the scan
- the subject line added to suspected spam and phishing messages
- whitelisting domains or recipients of outbound emails
- when to retrieve new rules
- enabling LiveFeed
- Microsoft Outlook features
Main Settings Tab
Sensitivity: choose whether the Anti-spam sensitivity is low, medium, or high.
Spam messages: choose whether to mark spam messages with a custom note in the email header
Phishing messages: choose whether to mark phishing messages with a custom note in the email header
Outbound emails: choose whether to add recipients of outbound emails to the whitelist automatically, and/or to only add the domains
Retrieve new rules?: choose whether AVG automatically retrieves new rules for Anti-spam at a selected interval
Enable LiveFeed: choose whether to enable LiveFeed or not
MS Outlook Only: choose whether to automatically move spam messages to the junk folder, and/or to automatically add entries from the address book to the whitelist
White List Tab
Configure the list of senders whose email addresses are never treated as spam.
In AVG Business Antivirus versions 19.5 and newer, you can also overwrite local whitelist settings by clicking the check box next to Advanced settings.
Black List Tab
Configure the list of senders whose email addresses are always treated as spam.
