Safari can't load some websites with Web Shield On

Safari is not loading some websites, for example itunesconnect.apple.com or https://developer.apple.com/account/

I've contacted Apple and they said it's some an issue with the AVG AntiVirus because when I turn off the Web Shield the issue is gone right away.

itunesconnect.apple.com is just showing the spinning wheel.
developer.apple.com/account says that Safari can't establish a secure connection to the Apple servers.

Other interesting fact, I can load these websites on Google Chrome.

Hello Gytis,

I understand the inconvenience.
Can you share the screenshot of AVG Antivirus version in Mac?
You can post the screenshot here in your topic. Click on 'Answer' & then click on the 'Image' [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions.

Thank you for the screenshot, Gytis.

You can add such websites into the exception list, follow the below steps to add the exception.

Go to edit file /Library/Application Support/AVGAntivirus/config/com.avg.proxy.excl

Add line with exception, example *avg.com https (space between *avg.com and https needs to be done by tab. button)

After editing this file MAC needs to be restarted.

Ok, thanks.

It should be more convenient to add the exception.

Yes, since this is a manual method of adding exception, you may find it difficult.
You can except the option to be included on program interface in mere future.
Thank you.
