False positive re: MacOS:BitCoinMiner-BI[PUP]

I'm using AVG Antivirus 18.2 free version on an up to date Macbook Pro. I also run a cryptocurrency wallet that I downloaded from here: https://download.faircoin.world

Following a system software update this morning, I noticed that the FairCoin wallet software was not working, and the application appeared to have been somehow damaged (perhaps as a result of the MacOS update, or perhaps due to AVG?).

In any event I downloaded a fresh copy of the application from the official download site mentioned above. AVG reported that it had quarantined the file FairCoin-QT from this package, suggesting that it was infected with 'MacOS:BitCoinMiner-BI[PUP]'.

Note that prior to the system software update, this wallet software has been running without any issues alongside AVG for some months.

I contact the developer, who is known to me and trusted by me, and he told me that he had personally packaged and signed the download, and confirmed that it contains no malicious code whatsoever, which is also my experience having been using this software for many months without issue. I have verified the PGP signature on the download.

Consequently I'm reporting this as a false positive.
