Virus Definitions not updating - Error displayed

Hi,

I've noticed my virus definitions haven't been automatically updated for the past five days now. The program doesn't want to update manually either. The window displays "Last encountered error: Setup is already running."

Can anyone help please?

Regards,
Mandy

It seems the program is "stuck" with updating somewhere...

Hi Abirami,

I cannot "repair" the AVG program as suggested. This window popped up when I followed the steps you suggested.

What happens if restarting doesn't fix it and your stuck in a loop and now being told you're vulnerable to hacking?

Hi Dancenh,

We suggest you to run our AVG clear tool by referring to the article and then reinstall AVG Internet Security application and check if the issue still persists.

Thanks,
Vishnu Vardan
