Pop up for Multiple Threats secured from googleap...

I keep getting a pop up message saying multiple threats secured. Looks like it is from an googleap address. I have clear the cache (on the Mac), I have deleted browsing history etc.. Not sure what else to do.  I took a picture of the actual pop up from AVG but am not sure how to attach. Thank you.

Hello Linda,

It might be a false positive, we will check and get back to you. Provide us your AVG version and Mac version ( http://https//support.apple.com/en-us/HT201260 ) along with the screenshot of that threat detection.

You can post the screenshot here in your topic. Click on 'Answer' & then click on the 'Image' [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions. Please copy the full path by right clicking on the detection path and paste it here.

Thank you for the info, Linda.

We have received your screenshots. It could be better if you share that popup with full path. Click on "See details" at the bottom right corner and share it. Let us know at what situation you receive this message.

The next time the pop up occurs I will get the full path. As for the occurrence, it is at no particular time. It can even occur on the mail google page.  I also did a deep scan and nothing came up.

Okay, Linda.

Try to update your AVG product, restart your device and monitor the situation. If the issue persists, revert us with the full screenshot.

I got the same Google Chrome Phishing Multiple threat last night, i don't have a screenshot, but url was the same update.googleap... and today i got this MacOS:Pwnet-L [trj] threat from Google's Back Up and Sync program: User-added image

Both threats (hopefully false) seems to be related to Googles update processes.

Thank you for providing the screenshot Reijo,
We can certainly take a look into this. May I know when you're receiving this detection pop ups (While opening google Drive?)? After the threat detection, are you able to open Google Drive? Also let me know if you're keep on receiving this threat detection.
Regards,
Alok.

When this detection popped up, i was using a browser (Firefox, this time),
i didn't have the Back up and sync-program open or anything, i'm guessing the process mentioned in the screenshot is running in the background even when the app isn't.

It at least opened the program and started the sync process, but the sync process it does everytime it's opened is so long that i don't have time for it right now. I may let it run later, but at least for now it looks like it would open normally..
