protection

Computer says:  Computer protection is turned off.  I have scanned and rebooted.  When I click fix now, nothing happens.  It says computer protected in green.

Run AVG repair avgclick.me/RepairAVG from your control panel and check if that fix the issue.

Monica, For your info, just in case that you are unaware, you can post the screenshot here in your topic. Click on 'Answer' & then click on the 'Image' [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions.

Image loaded.  Going to try the suggestion by Karthikeyan also.  I had uninstalled AVG and reinstalled with the same outcome.  Says basic protection is there but also says computer protection is turned off so I'm not sure whether its working or not.

I don't know why I can't see the screenshot any more here.  I followed the instructions to repair avg wtih the same results.  Screen shows green computer protected, but red computer protection is turned off.  I have tried completely uninstalling avg and reinstalling.  What next?

That's unusual.

Thanks.  The support is outstanding.  I did get the AVG remover and AVG clear done and reinstalled AVG.  I got it to work.  Thanks for all the help.
