Mark Delaney Help! I'm in China. My AVG VPN will not start.
I purchased and activated my AVG Secure VPN on 31may2019 at home when I was in Canada, (on my PC running Windows 10 Professional and on my iPhone 6. Everything worked fine in Canada. Since I arrived in China, I have not been able to turn on the vpn. I'm getting the following error code:
The procedure entry point dep_osisWinVistaOrBetter could not be found in the dynamic link library C:\Program Files (x86)\AVG\Secure VPN\CommonUI.dll.
Has my avg vpn been blocked by the Chinese govt? I first used an avg vpn back in 2005 when I last in China. It worked then. Out of desperation, I downloaded a competitive free product to my iPhone 6 called VPN Proxymaster. It does work, but has some limitations. If a driver has been deleted by the isp, is there some way to resolve this issue while I'm in China or has the govt effectively blocked AVG? I need this AVG product to work now from China, not Canada. Any ideas?

Due to Chinese government regulation and policies, AVG Secure VPN will not be available and not work in China.
It is purely due to the restriction of their government and not an issue with our product.

As informed by our colleague, Chinese government has imposed restrictions on access to all commonly used VPN service networks, including AVG. Hence, you're experiencing this issue. However, AVG protection programs cannot be by-passed. Thank you for your understanding in advance!
