Money taken out of account after free trail

Hi Ive had free avg for years and was offered free upgrade trail
I filled in app form and card details and was told it would cancel automatically
now have been notified by bank that £44.99 has come out of my account but since I have
had free trial I don't even have avg on my computer but have paid for subscription which I am not using
what do I do

Hello Malcolm,

You have actually signed up for AVG Internet Security - Multi-Device (60 day) pre-authorized trial order on 28th May 2019.
Since it has auto renewal service enabled, you have been charged GBP49.99 on 28th July 2019 for the AVG Internet Security - Multi-Device (1 Year) subscription.
An email notification was sent prior to let you know about this process and the charge that is going to be taken.
Are you referring to this charge?
If yes, do you wish to use the paid subscription or get refund for it?
