Sage Faew Change countries but apps dont work
I changed my VPN to London United Kingdom
but the British apps BBC iplayer and all4 will show me content but not play shows.
They arent seeing my location as United Kingdom.
i upgraded to AVG VPN to be able to do that.
Do I have to do something else?

Let us explain this for you. There are several locations good optimized for video streaming. Please use the locations listed below to access the streaming sites:

I set my vpn to United Kingdom so I could access British content. The bbc iplayer All4 etc are supposed to think im in the UK.
That was why I got the vpn upgrade.
We realize the situation.
We would like to inform you that most of the video streaming websites block all the incoming VPN connections for security reasons. In some regions, VPN doesnt work due to the restrictions on the concerned website.
However, we have several locations good optimised for video streaming. This is why we requested you to try with the above locations.

i gave up on trying to stream UK content and changed location to Miami as suggested.
I cant watch on any streaming service.
i tried watching a movie on FreeFlixHQ and PopcornTime and it wont work at all.
i changed the vpn to miami and the connection just times out or doesnt download on freeflixHQ and popcorntime.
i cant even use my AcornTV paid subscription.
Please tell me what to do

We also request you to check whether it works when you have the optimal location selected in AVG Secure VPN.
when i tried to connect to optmal location it wouldnt connect. I tried with Toronto again and it doesnt connect vpn either
it checks it and then the Connect VPN button appears.
when i click it nothing happens.
Please reinstall it and check the status.

i uninstalled antivirus and reinstalled.
i can now connect to vpn but still cant access movies.
tried freeflixhq and popcorntime. Both say downloads taking too long
havent tried to access my acorntv subscription or cbc app yet
tried streaming from cbc app and it just kept loading...nothing happened

Instead of setting to optimal location, we request you to change the location to the streaming servers and check if it works now.

Some website block VPN users from accessing their sites.
Please check if the streaming websites you are trying to access have this option.
If they have, then it will not be possible to access these websites with VPN enabled.
it worked fine with Expressvpn when i used their free trial.
In this case, we need to escalate this case to our senior team for further analysis.
I have sent you an email, please follow the steps from the email to collect error logs from your computer and share the screenshot of the error message you receive when you try to access these websites with AVG Secure VPN enabled.
I will check the same and escalate the case to the senior team.
I'm unable to find any active subscription of AVG with this email. If you are using a different email address, please share the email address via email to locate your account.
i have avg ultimate antivirus for android till Aug 29 which includes cleaner pro and avgvpn.
i use the vpn service in antivirus not a seperate app
