What is the new price of the renewal for the VPN?

I've just had the usual renewal email for my AVG products ie: this time it's my VPN. It says the price is $149.99c which it says maybe different to what I paid before.  I want to know what I did pay before as I didn't save the invoice, though I've saved the one for my AVG Security which is over a hundred dollars for last one.

This renewal I assume is for 2yrs as the last one was?  I can't find what I paid last time anywhere in my product info when I go to My Account, only the price they've quoted now, unless it's the same, but it seems very expensive!   I'm free-trialling the AVG antitrack, so I'm tempted to cancel my VPN sub as there is a place there to do that. Can you tell me what the price is now of the AVG VPN or is that price quoted still the old price?  Just seems too expensive even though it's for 2yrs.

Jackie, open AVG Internet Security program interface. Click on "Menu-->About" and provide the screenshot (https://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?l=en&urlName=AVG-Create-screenshot&supportType=home) of it here.
You can post the screenshot here in your topic. Click on 'Answer' & then click on the 'Image' [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions.
To be sure, did you click on "scan computer" from the program interface or referring to other scans involved in the program?

Hello Jacqueline,

Yes. the current price for AVG Secure VPN - Windows computers (2 Years) subscription is A$ 149.99.
This can be used only on Windows computers with one active log in at a time.
Let us know whether you would like to continue with the auto renewal or cancel it and get AVG Secure VPN Multidevice subscription which can be used on Windows, Mac, Android and iOS devices.
To know about it, check this https://www.avg.com/secure-vpn official website.
You have signed up for AVG Anti-Track (30 day) trial which has auto renewal enabled.
Hence, you will be charged automatically for a 1 year subscription. An email notification will be sent prior to let you know about this process and the charge that is going to be taken.
If you would like to cancel it, do inform us here.

Yes, I'll keep on with the VPN, but just wondered if it was necesary with having the Anti tracker? I don't know anything about VPN Multidevice, unless it's to have all your subscriptions in one? I've got AVG Tune-up, VPN, in with the AVG Security, which is the paid anti virus now instead of the free one, then I'll have the anti tracker, all separate payments. The VPN's due mid June, or it's taken mid  June for July 3rd, plus this anti tracker will be to pay for mid June.

I hope they'll be offering the option to have that for 2yrs as it was 'recomended' on the form, as it's cheaper to do it that way for about $73 dollars something as the yearly one is 49.99c?

Jackie, if you would like to clear the online tracking cookies, then you can opt for AVG Anti-Track product.
Refer this https://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=AVG-AntiTrack-FAQ FAQ to know more about the product.
Each of your AVG subscriptions has distinct features and functions.
You have signed up for AVG Anti-Track (30 day Trial) and has auto renewal service enabled.
Hence, you will be notified prior through email regarding the charge that is going to be taken. The charge will be for a year.

I'm waiting for the 30 day trial to finish before I buy it, though, I can't really tell what it's doing. I think it brings a panel up every so often to let you know and you may have to click on something for it to do it, not sure.

Just wondering why they wouldn't give you the options again in the email when the trial's finished, instead of carrying on to do the yearly one, as it says it's 'reccomended on the first form. Maybe they want you to do yearly to get more money if you haven't bought it right away for the two yearly one. I shouldn't have to buy it now to get the two yearly one. I've got the email saying when the VPN os due, around the same time that the 30 day trial finishes for anti tracker.

Jackie,
Please share the screenshot of page which you are referring to look into it.
Once the trial ends, the product will get expired and you will no longer have renewal option.
You have to initiate a new purchase for this product, that's why we do not have that option. However, we will send an offer emails if you have enabled the Newsletter/ marketing emails.
AVG Secure VPN will get renewed as per our renewal process. AVG AntiTrack will  be charged on 06/15/2019. Are you trying to cancel the auto renewal status of AVG AntiTrack?
Jackie RhodesJackie Rhodes
The page I'm referring to was when I was checking that I was fully protected in my AVG Security and I clicked into the page which was adveristing the anti tracker. That's where it showed the option for 2yrs which was selected with a dot as being 'reccomended.'  When I clicked to close it, as I wasn't going to bother just yet, it brought the panel up asking if I wanted to trial it for 30 days, so then I decided to. It didn't say anything about having to buy it before the trial was up to get the 2yr option. Why does it continue on with just a year if 2yrs is reccmended? I don't know if I could find that page just now and don't know how to do screen shots.
Jackie RhodesJackie Rhodes
I'm not trying to cancel the auto renewal of anti tracker but I don't see why I should pay $49. 99c per year when it's cheaper to get it for 2yrs, at $73 something as I can't remember the exact price now.

Hi Jackie,
From your posts, we understand that you've received the promotiional offer for AVG AntiTrack. If you're concerned about the price, you can reach our billing team (https://support.avg.com/support_sales_chat) via chat & avail the offer. Thank you for your understanding in advance!
Jackie RhodesJackie Rhodes
Thankl, but I don't want to do a live chat, though I have done them before. I'll just keep on with what I've got now. I think I've got about four products from AVG now, but I'm not buying anymore, as it just seems to go on and on. Buy this, cover yourself for that etc, etc. I'm paying enough out. If that was a promotional offer, then it should be giving the option for 2yrs before it continous on, via an email for you to click into. I must have managed to get the VPN for 2yrs somehow.
Balasubramanian SBalasubramanian S (Avast)

Well, the 2yrs for the Anti-Tracker isn't much different to getting it yearly?  I'll just leave it as it is. Just means that each 2yrs I'll have two lots to pay for in the middle of June. With an offer, you usually only get it the first time, then next time, it's usually gone up. I'm sure all my subs were all under a hundred dollars at the beginning.

I take it that the AVG must be the same price it was last time, as nobody's said, but that's what it says in my account. I can't believe I paid that much money out, even for 2yrs.  I've done all the updates now as it showed that some of my drivers were out of date, but I thought the Update Drivers I have on my comp is supposed to update automatically.

Jackie,
AVG AntiTrack isn't much different to getting it yearly compare to 2 years.
The discount price will be applicable for first time and renewal will always costs the original price of the product but you can reach our Sales team during renewal and avail discounts if available.
Regarding AVG Driver Updater, it will scan for outdated drivers automatically and notify you about it so that you can perform update for those out of date drivers.
Jackie RhodesJackie Rhodes
It's a pity it doesn't just do them for you, though I suppose it means you can do them when you want, which is as soon as possible. I don't always open my AVG Security, and it's a bit of a shock when it says 'Your drivers are out of date, you are not protected etc. I get auto Windows updates, which it usually does them when I'm closing down my computer which takes a bit longer.  I'll just keep on with everything as it is now, but I'm not getting anymore products.
-980888528-980888528 (Avast)
Jackie,
AVG Internet Security will automatically scan for viruses and infections.
AVG Driver Updater will perform automated scan and notify you when the driver is out of date. You can click on it and perform update to complete the update process. This is because, some users might not require update for few drivers so they can ignore it. We had these options for convenient use. You can reconnect with our technical team https://support.avg.com/support_contact_form?l=en via online chat to update those outdated drivers.

It tells me I'm up to date now. The Driver Update that is. It told me that a few days ago and then there was still one that needed doing it said for some reason. Thanks for your help and time though.
Jackie RhodesJackie Rhodes
I did a scan too as I noticed I hadn't done one for 18hrs it said. I forget to do it. This was a second time doing that scan for viruses etc, as it hadn't updated how many hours and was still showing 18hrs, so I did it again and it adjusted then.

I don't really need to send a screen shot as everything is working OK now. I've had a look at the instructions but it seems too compicated just now. If there was something really wrong with it I'd have a go, but I don't need to make the time with it. If anything goes wrong I'll get in touch. Thanks again for your interest.
