I recently purchased and installed AVG Internet security. When browsing the web with Chrome while shopping for various products or services, I often (too often) receive AVG pop-up offers for alternative products or services. How does one disable these pop-ups?
Anna, your answer is fine until it gets to typing "popups." There is a second "settings"on the left hand side of Chrome, but you can't type "popups.". The popups are aggravating, occurring at least once per session. If I can't get rid of AVG's popups, I'll look for another vendor when my subscription expires.

How do we turn this off? i'm sure avg sent out an email apologising for this? after that it stopped for a little while and now its back, consistantly pops up during playing games taking me out of game controls and popping up inconvient moments.
