saved passwords

Google always fills in passwords automatically - yesterday suddenly stopped doing this  for no apparent reason. Have checked google settings & they seem to be OK
Why has this happened & can I do anything to get the saved passwords working again, please

Hello Mrs Joan,
We will look into it.
Have you disabled AVG temporarily to check if that auto fill option works fine?
If not, right click on AVG icon under system tray next to clock, click on toggle bar to disable it.

Hi Ranjani
Thank you so much for answering my query so quickly. I'm very grateful
I eventually found the solution in the AVG Pasword Protection, which had activated 'block an app' for some reason. I followed the instructions & 'allowed an app'  : Google Chrome - & that resulted in  password autofill working again. Very thankfully!
