Quicken

Starting this morning when opening Quicken for Windows, I get the messages "We've safely aborted connection on ip-api.com because it was infected with URL:Blacklist."

According to the Quicken community website that is also happening starting today to people using Avast. I am using AVG Free.  How can this be addressed. I have done a deep scan and there is no virus in my system that I can detect.  Quicken, AVG and Windows are all up-to-date on my computer.

Hello David,

We will look into it.

Please share the screenshot http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-create-a-screenshot of that threat detection message with full path.

Click on "See details" at the bottom right corner of that message to view its full path.

Thank you for the screenshot.

It seems that AVG Web Shield component is stopping this application from connecting to the Internet.

You can add this application to AVG Web Shield exception list https://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=AVG-Antivirus-scan-exclusions and check if that fix the issue.

You can also send the sample https://www.avg.com/en-us/false-positive-file-form of this file to AVG for analysis.
