Constantly getting JS:Cryptonight [Tri] popup windows

So many "Threat secured" windows pop up, crash my Chrome, stop whatever I'm doing, but when I run a scan, AVG finds nothing. What do I do? Help, it's impossible for me to use my laptop like this and it's already been a day of torture. The only new thing I've installed was an AVG update.
Screenshot of the problem.

Matea,
Thank you for providing screenshot. I see that the threat detection path is under Google chrome application file. Hence please try to reset your Google chrome browser by going to Google chrome->Settings->type "Reset" in search box. Then locate "Reset settings"option, click it and confirm it by clicking on "Reset" button. Please note that resetting the "browser will reset your startup page, new tab page, search engine, and pinned tabs. It will also disable all extensions and clear temporary data like cookies. Your bookmarks, history and saved passwords will not be cleared.
Then update your AVG program once and check the status.

The screenshot I posted in my original post IS the threat detection. I don't get notified that there is a threat, I only get the "threat secured" window for hundreds of times out of the blue!
