AVG subscription not working

I cannot find out why the latest AVG installation is still shown as a trial version? There is no subscription shown when I log on my account. What did I pay if the installed AVG is a trial version only?

Hello Ritva,
I am sorry to hear that you are unable to activate AVG Internet Security unlimited in your PC. Please follow below steps to get it activated in your PC:
1. Please open AVG Internet Security and click on 'My AVG' icon at top right corner of it.
2. Then click on 'My Subscriptions' icon in it. If you find your old license number there, please click on 'Remove license'.
3. Otherwise, if you find your email address there, then click on 'Log out' option.
4. Please follow the 3rd and 4th steps until you encounter 'Log in' option. Once you encounter 'Log in' option, please click on it and enter your AVG My Account username and password and complete the activation process.
Keep us informed about the status to assist further.

Thanks for your prompt answer!

I did some testing after my question was posted to you and managed to replace the trial version by removing and then reinstalling. Now it shows correct expire date but the licence number is shown as xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx but there is no "Log in" option available. Now I can see the updated order list too so the case is solved?

Ritva, I appreciate your efforts. Please click Remove license till you get the Login Option. Once you get it, log in with your Myaccount credentials to activate the program.

Hi again
I have click the "Remove license" several times, the message "This will downgrade..." and sometimes the message "Sorry, we´we run to a problem..." below the main message in shown. Nothing happens, no Log in is shown. Should I reinstall again?

Hello Ritva,
I'm sorry to hear that you're still experiencing issues with AVG Internet Security activation. In this case, I request you to remove AVG completely along with any previous traces using the AVG clear tool/AVG Remover tool and then do a fresh installation of AVG. This will ensure that none of the previous traces of AVG are left on your computer and you have an updated version. Please follow the instruction ( http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-troubleshoot-issues-after-upgrade-to-the-latest-AVG-antivirus-product ) to run AVG Remover tool and AVG Clear tool. After the computer reboots, please follow the instruction (http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=Download-and-install-AVG-Protection) to download/install/activate AVG Internet Security.
Best regards,
Ritva ErikssonRitva Eriksson
The start options were changed on my laptop after the remove and clean tools were run. I have reinstalled my laptop before installing the new AVG version and all seems to be working fine again.

After log in on my account the AVG was activated and the expire date is set to 01/05/2019. I have not received any license number as earlier when the subscription has been renewed. For some reason the the payment details were updated yesterday again. I'm quite sure they were visible after the purchase in December 27 but I assume this is correct as there are no duplicated payment details.
