JS:CryptoNightMiner-A [Trj].

I'm using  AVG Antivirus free and regularly throughout the day is keeps popping up saying it has aborted on connection because it was infected with JS:CryptoNightMiner-A [Trj].

I have tried scanning my computer and restarting it but they didn't stop the popup. Anyone have any tips on what to do?

Thank you for the information.
It looks like the threat appears while visiting this URL "https://hqq.tv".
Could you check whether you are getting this threat while visiting this website?
Chaser DamarChaser Damar
I get the threat no matter what I'm doing. I get it from watching youtube, watching livestreams, using my email and any other thing I do online

Thank you for the information.
This looks like a false positive.
Open AVG Antivirus free, click on "Menu-->About" and provide the version information here.

Thank you for the information.
The latest version is 18.6. We request you to perform update of AVG antivirus free.
Open AVG Antivirus free, click on "Menu-->Settings-->Update".
Click on update for both program and virus definitions and check the version status.
If it is updated to 18.6, check whether you get this threat popup.

it allowed me to update the virus definitions but wouldn't allow me to update the program from 18.5 as shown in my photoUser-added image

Okay, in this case, we request you to reinstall the program and check the status.
For uninstallation, refer this article.
Run AVG clear tool as mentioned here to remove the traces.
