Uninstalling AVG free antivirus on a Mac

I have AVG antivirus (the free version) and I just purchased the paid version. When I tried to install it, it tells me to uninstall the other version. I have not been able to do it.

Yes I did. I mean, I tried but in the recommended way, I did not get the menu that I was supposed to. In the second way, once I typed the lines in the terminal, I received the message "file does not exist"
