AVG Video Downloader

My AVG Video Downloader function, on the Youtube video sites, was working fine until recently.  The green "Download" button still appears on the upper right hand corner of the video, but does not allow me to download anymore, when I click on the download button.  Nothing happens!  No error message as well.  Any suggestions or solutions?  Thanks!

Please uninstall and reinstall your AVG Secure Browser to check if the issue persists.

As per your instructions, I uninstalled and reinstalled my AVG Secure Browser, and still not able to activate my AVG Video Downloader function as before.  Am I missing an AVAST downloader app? Please advise.

Let us clarify this for you.
YouTube has recently changed their site streaming settings and policies, and due to that, the video downloader feature is not working.
We're currently aware of the issue. Our developers are diligently working on it and will be fixed as soon as possible.

This has also been happening to me for quite awhile now. At first, the green download button is there, and I can download several videos. Then nothing happens when I press the green download button. If I reload the page, then the green button is no longer there. It's no longer there for other videos and other channels too. I can get the green button back by clicking out of everything, signing out of YouTube, and reloading the brower OR by going to Extensions > Developer Mode (on) > Avast Video Downloader (on). The green download button reappears; however, the video still won't download. I also tried pressing the camera icon and then green download button. Nothing. I can, however, download other videos now that I have the green download button back. I just can't download that video.
