Sound for update

When AVG antivirus checks its update, it always beeps. Actually, it is annoying. Is there any way to mute the sound? My mac is OS10.13.6 and AVG virus is ver. 19.6.

To disable the app notifications on your Mac, please follow the steps below:

1. Click on "Menu".
2. Select "System Preferences".
3. Click on "Notifications".
4. Select "AVG Antivirus".
5. Uncheck "Play sound for notifications".

Kindly check if the issue persists after disabling the sound notifications.
