receipt_pdf

I inadvertently clicked on a link in an email message and it installed what looks like a new drive "F" and the file in that drive is called    receipt_pdf.exe  .  I tried to shred it with AVG but it said that access to the file was denied.  YIKES!  Can anyone help!???  I've sent a message to AVG support already .. waiting for their response.

Hi Bernice,

We could not find any request submitted by you other than this community post.
Could you provide the screenshot of window that shows 'receipt_pdf.exe'?
You can post the screenshot by clicking on 'Image symbol' from 'Answer' field.
If you see it as a drive on 'My Computer', then please right click on it and check whether it shows any option as 'Eject' or 'Unmount'.

OK ... I right-clicked it, selected EJECT and it dissappeared.  Is that all I need to do?  If so, THANK YOU!  If not, let me kow what to do next.  I am now in the process of copying all my DATA files on an external drive, just for safe-keeping!
