Hi there, recently I've been running a boot scan and I'm encountering a lot of 42125 errors ("corrupted" compressed files).
In order to solve it I downloaded a third part software (DiskInternals ZIP Repair) and manually "fixed" some corrupted compressed files but to no avail, cause the next time I ran the boot-scan the problem reappeared.
Could you help me solve this? Could my files be "healthy" anyway or they are corrupted for sure?
We'd like to inform you that few zipped files might be unavailable to scan at boot time, which might produce this error. We assure you that these are not threats, they're just unavailable to be scanned at boot up. Let us know if you have further queries.
We're glad to look into this & help you. Please share us a image (taken using a mobile camera) of the error you receive at boot time, so that we can check & assist you further. You can post the image here in your topic. Click on Answer & then click on the Image [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions. Also, please specify the name(s) of the AVG program(s) installed in your computer & your operating system. Thanks in advance!

Hi, thank you for your answer, I understand what you said, I hope I'm not going off-topic including an additional issue I came across while reading another log
This time it's a full system scan. I noticed those 42110 and 42006 errors, respectively "Decompression Bomb" and "File not available" it seems. Does the first one mean AVG is having a hard time again trying to decompress? Are there any actions I should take?
A ‘ Decompression bomb’ is a term given to archived file (RAR or ZIP) that has a very high compression ratio. These files have the potential to grow to be very big once they are extracted and possibly use up all the memory. This is not necessarily a virus. If the contents are unpacked, the AVG file shield will scan them for any malicious content.
I am here to comment Recently I am working with Magnotek (https://www.magnotek.cl). My computer often suffer from viruses I have tried a lot of anti virus programs but still something goes wrong. Even one time my Kazan every aniti virus failed to remove malware at that time I removed malware in safe mode. Now I have a lot of information about that.
Thank you for taking your time to communicate with us, Magno. We request you to create a separate AVG community post by clicking the link below and post your questions in your own post, so that we will check with your AVG account and help you with additional support.
