Our specialists got back to me and confirmed the following:
1. The scan history records are stored, and saved in the following directories:
/Library/Application Support/AVGAntivirus/config/service-data/scheduled-scans/
/Library/Application Support/AVGAntivirus/config/service-data/scan-reports/
However, these files are encrypted.
2. The records are kept until the application is reinstalled
Once you reinstall the app, it starts collecting the history from the beginning.

Before proceeding, please let us know the version of your MAC & AVG. (Open AVG - Menu - About).
AVG AntiVirus
Version: 20.1
Mac OS: 12.3.1
To check the scan history, please open AVG AntiVirus and click Run other scans. Click the Scan history.

The main question is how long of a history is maintained?
and is there a file saved somewhere to access the history outside of the application.

1. When the application is updated, does that count as a reinstall? Trying to figure out if each update will clear the history.
