Hello, When I use Chrome AVG AntiTrack blocks some trackers but If I use Edge and open the same sites AVG AntiTrack does not block anything. So I'm wondering if AVG AntiTrack is working correctly on my PC and also if it is possible to test his efficiency? Thanks and best regards
Could you mention the version of the Edge browser?
The latest version of the Edge browser currently doesn't support the AVG AntiTrack. This could be the reason for the website not being detected by AVG.
Hi Santosh, Thanks, I think you are right, I'm using Version 87.0.664.66 (Version officielle) (64 bits). But I'm also surprised when I use Chrome and try the AVG Free privacy test on the AntiTrack Internet page, my identity is not hidden ???
Thank you for clarifying, Robert. AVG AntiTrack is a privacy application designed to keep your identity safe from the latest online tracking techniques, and protect your system privacy. Upon checking the provided screenshot, it seems that you're concerned about your location being visible. As the screenshot isn't in English, we're uncertain about it. Would you be so kind to clarify about it & help us with the web link through which you've did the free privacy test?
Hello Dinesh, Thanks for your help. Yes in English it is: "Look, your digital fingerprint!" "This is your unique digital fingerprint:.............You leave it everywhere and the sites use it to track you." "Your location: my city" "Your IP address:..............." "Your browser:Chrome 87.0.4280.141" "Your computer:Windows" "Services you're connected to:nothing" "... and that's not all. Advertisers or hackers can find even more about you: browsing history, credit rating, medical records, etc. Buy for PC €49.99 Or buy for Mac" My previous screenshot was with Edge but The issue is the same with Chrome as you can see on the screensshot below.
I think it is an official AVG page and the link is: https://www.avg.com/fr-fr/antitrack#pc
Thank you for the explanation in English, Robert Kindly check and confirm if you have activated the AVG AntiTrack. So that we can provide you addition support to investigate in this matter.

Hello, My issue was solved with the help of AVG free remote asistance service; in fact my AVG AntiTrack needed some tweaks. But I have another question: Is it planed a date for the support of Edge ? "Santhosh Pannerselvam (AVG) Hi Robert, We are here to help. Could you mention the version of the Edge browser? The latest version of the Edge browser currently doesn't support the AVG AntiTrack. This could be the reason for the website not being detected by AVG. Thank you for understanding."

That's my first experience on your forum...
As informed earlier, the latest version of the Edge browser is currently not compatible with AVG AntiTrack.
Could you confirm whether you used the Chrome browser to run the free privacy test?
