AVG VPN blocks Internet access completely

I installed AVG VPN on 2 very similar 2 pc's.  On the 1 pc it works fine, on the other AVG VPN blocks the internet completely.  Both PC's had te latest Windows update.  Moreover the start up screen of VPN is cropped.  The only visible and available option  is on/off.  When I turn it on my connection is completely gone.  Checked windows settings, could not find anything.  Nothing wrong with my display settings;

Hello, I simply do not have access to the internet. It is shut off.  DNS problem for all websites.  In the meantime I changed my separate subscriptions (vpn, security and tune up) to Ultimate.  Reinstalled once more  The same problem arises.  I use two browsers, Edge and Firefox for youtube.  The startup screen remains cropped.  I can only turn vpn off and on.  On the other PC I can see the virtual IP and all the rest.  Very frustrating.

I have to add that I do have Internet access when VPN is turned off.

Hello, I followed the steps on that page. 1. I was not prompted by the user account dialog (windows 10 pro).  First I had to figure out the second ethernet "Nordlynx Tunnel" that was not there before.  I disabled it, found out that AVG vpn did not work anymore, enabled it again and put the IP numbers in the nordlynx boxes.  It became even worse after that, VPN became idle, so I took out the IP numbers and restored it to the previous settings. Then I could not get on the AVG pages anymore on that PC, even with VPN shut off.  All other website were accessible (?).  I am writing this on my other PC where I still have access.  Both PC's are part of my home network, desktop connections.  Btw, the start screen is still cropped, and I can only close by means Alt-F4.  I am fed up with it, will enable windows vpn on the PC in question and will regret the purchase if the problem is not solved.
