Maintenance for different hard drive

Is there a way of getting Tune Up to scan my D drive as well as the usual C drive?

Thanks.

Hello Garry,

We will check and help you to clarify it.

Could you please confirm whether D drive is external drive or partioned drive on your computer?

Also, please check and confirm whether diskdoctor shows both C and D drive for scanning process.

Disk Doctor scans your internal and external drives for disk errors caused by corrupted files, then offers to repair any found issues. If left unrepaired, corrupted files can cause crashes, unexpected behavior, problems starting your PC, and the loss of personal data.

By default, AVG TuneUp notifies you when a scan is recommended. You can also check this manually by clicking All functions (the grid icon) on the right side of the AVG TuneUp dashboard and selecting Open Disk Doctor. When a scan is recommended, an information panel is visible on the Disk Doctor screen. Choose the relevant action below:

Scan Now: Run a scan of the relevant drive to check for issues.
Ignore: A scan is not run. You can run the scan later later by clicking disks ignored at the bottom of the Disk Doctor screen.
Details: View additional information about the relevant drive.

Please try the above steps and let us know if its working for you. Thank you.

Hi, and thanks for the quick reply.

Drive D is a partioned drive on my Windows 10 PC.

I done the Disk Doctor function and scanned both drives, but I was wondering if Tune Up could be configured to carry out automatic maintenance for both drives, at the same time?

Thanks again.

Yes, Garry. We can Scan the  multiple local disks at the same time by manually clicking the Scan on the Disk Doctor. The Automatic maintenance scan will run on the entire PC to find the broken registry, broken shortcuts, system junks, browser cache etc. If you want the AVG TuneUp to run this scan automatically, then you need to enable the below settings,
Open AVG TuneUp > Click on the Menu >Settings > Automatic maintenance > Turn on the slider to run it automatically.
I recommend you to turn it off and manually run this Maintenance scan, so that you can manually check the list of files and clean it using "Fix and Clean".
