AVG causing this error "Your connection is not private Attackers might be trying to steal your infor

This has happened a few times while trying to access several URL's. Tried accessing the following sites and got this error message..."

Your connection is not private

Attackers might be trying to steal your information from www.bestbuy.com (for example, passwords, messages, or credit cards)."

(urls removed)
When I turn off AVG, I am able to connect to these URL's with no problem.
Any suggestions?

Thanks

Hi Ken,

We're glad to look into this & help you.
Initially, please clarify whether this happens in a specific browser or irrespective of browsers & whether you use any VPN service.
Also, let us know the version of AVG that is installed on your computer (Open AVG - Menu - About).
Meanwhile, please disable Web Shield individually to check if it helps (Open AVG - Web & Email - Click on toggle bar in Web shield to disable it temporarily).
