MALWARE

AGV scans do not fine any malware, yet I do have malware that in chrome hyjacks my google search engine converts to Yahoo.  How do I fix this?

You've reached the AVG community support forum.
We're sorry to know that you're facing this trouble. This behavior does not necessarily mean that your PC is infected. If you experience unusual browser behavior that is not flagged as malicious by AVG Internet Security or AVG AntiVirus FREE, we recommend following the below steps and check the status.

1. Open the Chrome browser > select "Settings", in the "Search engine" section, click "Manage search engines", in the opened list look for "search.yahoo.com" when located click the three vertical dots near this URL and select "Remove from list".
2. Reset the chrome browser.
3. Restart your computer and check if it helps.
