AVG 1-Click Maintenance

When I run AVG 1-Click Maintenance (Wndows 7, Laptop HP Facebook4730s) the first 5 ops are completed but it gets half way through "Clean Up Browser" and stalls; says it's analysing, green line doesnt move.
Have tried reinstalling and starting again with same result. Solution please ?

Yesterday afternoon the installation finally completed and the correction of issues commenced at about 4pm. Again it seemed to stall "Clean Up Browser" and I left it cleaning overnight. At 08:10 this morning, after 16 hours, it "pinged"  and there was a message to say that the clean up had failed and asked if I wanted to send a report to AVG, which I clicked "yes" to in response.  Over to you ?

Just like to say that I am running the one day, single use, trial version and I am not impressed ; the problems so far hardly suggest that it would be a reliable system to invest money in. By the way, I was asked " how do we measure the effectiveness of the operations carried out", assuming the tune up is ever completed ?
