Installing AVG Free Error 0xE0060006

I keep getting this error when trying to install AVG Free.

The network location cannot be reached.  For information about network troubleshooting, see Windows Help.  (0xE0060006)

I have tried a couple of friends computers and they are getting the same error message.

I have Windows 10.  It has AVG 2015 and it installed fine. I have tried the upgrade as well as downloading the file and starting over.

I get the same error and I've both tried from the avg 2015 UI as well as downloading the latest version and installing it.  It happens on both of my computers, both running Windows 7.

Hello Viveksaravanan,

I tried your solution and it didn't work. I'm still unable to install AVG Zen on my Windows 7 Professional.
Any other suggestions?

Thank you.

So I'm having the exact same problem. Originally AVG threw this error on updating (forgotten what version, it was around a month ago). I thought I should just uninstall, and install from scratch.

So now I'm at this point. I've tried running the AVG remover. And I've tried doing a clean boot.
Running windows 7. Can produce log if necessary.
Any help is appreciated :)

Hello, I too have the same problem. I have two computers (one Windows Vista and one Windows 7) and for some time the update hasn't worked. On the Win7 machine I have run the avg removal tool, but no luck when trying to install avg free again.

The issue is not with the Business Edition.  As stated, that is on my servers and this issue is on a workstation.  The workstation is(was) using AVG Free, but I'm thinking of replacing AVG completely on my whole network now
