Uninstall

Hello

When I click on the Performance tool in AVG Zen, I get the following, bizarre error:

'No action was taken as a system reboot is required (0xE001F90B)' I have rebooted several times and still get that same error, so decided to remove AVG through the Control Panel in Win 10. When I select AVG in the Control Panel, I get the same error message.

How can I remove AVG, please?

Hello Steve,
I apologize for the inconvenience you experienced in this case.
I request you to please uninstall AVG using AVG Remover tool.
1.Please click on the link http://download.avg.com/filedir/util/AVG_Remover.exe to download the AVG Remover tool.
2.Run the downloaded file and then click Continue to agree with AVG’s license agreement and privacy policy. AVG Remover will now scan your computer to find all installed AVG products.
3.From the list of products, select the one you would like to remove.
4.Your computer will need to be restarted. After the restart, AVG Remover will finish the uninstallation.
Please feel free to get back to us for further assistance.
Thank you.

I noticed my computer running slow and sluggish yesterday. Today was worse so I decided to run AVG Free. I was surprised with ZEN. Nothing worked. AVG wouldn't run. I tried to uninstall thru the control panel on my Vista computer but it kept failing. No I've set my computer back to Dec. 1st and am planning on downloading the uninstall noted above. Man! This is a hassel!

I was able to uninstall all AVG components with the AVG remover I downloaded as per the above. Now, I downloaded the AVG Free and find that it only runs on web and email. The Computer service is now grayed out.
