David Westwood Windows 10 (re) install
Hi I recently upgraded to Windows 10, AVG seemed to be OK
A few days later I had notification of not AVG working, after several atempts of updateing then removing and re-installing it now say can not install :(
First error on re-install shows:
Runtime Error!
Program: C:\Windows\syswow64\MsiExec.exe
R6025
- pure vurtual funtion call
Then AVG says:
Installation failed Contact customer support
Error code: 0xC0070643
Description: Event exec_finished
Then AVG Zen says:
Sorry, unknown event (with same code)

Please be informed that there will be some traces of AVG left behind in your pc. Hence we request you to run AVG remover tool in your pc, it will remove all the traces in your pc and then install AVG Antivirus Free back in your pc to get your issue resolved. To run AVG remover tool for AVG Antivirus please follow the below steps :

Accept the license agreement and then choose AVG Internet Security and remove it.
NOTE: Once the AVG Remover Tool has done with its process. Please go to the drive where you installed this tool and look for a folder named as "AVG Remover" and I request you to delete it manually.
