After installing and using AVG Performance, I am unable to open Internet Explorer (in Windows 7). The program (IE 11) is still there (re-installed just in case), but it will not open. I have turned off the firewall, rescanned, rebooted many times, reviewed all my changes for evidence of anything relating to IE but am unaware of anything that could have caused this to happen. I have no available restore point that precedes the AVG installation. Any suggestions please?
