Error code 0xe0010058

Hi everyone,

Earlier today, I uninstalled an older version of AVG Free (2014, I think) via Windows Add/Remove so that I can install AVG 2016 and Zen and monitor several computers that I manage from its dashboard. Prior to this I have already set up Zen, Protection, and TuneUp on a different PC.

However, after setting up AVG Protection on this PC, I have been unable to setup AVG TuneUp, and have been getting error code 0xe0010058.

I have read several forum posts and tried using avg_remover_stf_x64_2015_5501 and AVG_Remover and have restarted my computer several times already. I even manually removed a remnant AVG folder in the registry. Up to now though, I am still encountering the said error code.

Any suggestions or ideas? Appreciate your help and thanks in advance!

Hello Joseph,
Please run the  AVG 2016 remover tool : http://aa-download.avg.com/filedir/util/AVG_Remover.exe to completely uninstall your previous installation of AVG program from your PC. Please let us know if the issue persists so that we could provide you with alternative resolution to fix the issue.
