hi I am having the same issue.  I received the 0xE001002 error when trying to install the firewall (unsuccessful so far).  I already used the remover tool for a clean install because I was (and still) receiving the avguix.exe - bad image (C:\windows\system32\msvcp110.dll) error.  I'm on my 3rd try.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

All,

I'm having a similiar issue. I have been trying to uninstall avg free edition anti virus and avg web tuneup from windows 10.

When I attempt to uninstall from control panel I'm presented the OxE0010002 error.
I have downloaded and attempted to use the above mentioned avg_remover.exe which appears to run successfully but upon reboot the applications are still present in the control panel and there are still avg processes being started when the machine boots specifically avg ui re(starter).

I would like to get things clean-up can I please get some instructions on next steps or the email that is mentioned in the above posts?

Hello everyone.

User-added image

I have installed the AVG Clear Tool and did the steps above.
But now I have a box saying that avguix.exe have failed (see the print image).

I have installed AVG last version 64 bits again but now the icon doesn't appear in the task menu.
And even worse, the program don't show up as I click on the icon-desktop.

Can anyone help me on that? (Sorry for my english).

Started with trying to unistall tune-up--> Applied all the aforementioned steps---> even tried windows uninstaller from Control Panel--> tried the AVG remover 4 times, even AVG Cleaner and also tried uninstalling AVG and its products using Control Panel's remove programs. Finally all AVG products have been removed except what i intended to remove in the first place--> i.e. AVG tune-up.
I know you will simply ask to repeat the steps again. But seriously guys please resolve this issue, and give a concrete solution not a repetition.

Hi Sam,
We apologize for the inconvenience caused due to the AVG Program. Could you please confirm once if you're trying to remove the AVG PC TuneUp or the AVG Web TuneUp? Also, if you're trying to remove the AVG Web TuneUp, please delete the extensions from the browsers first and then try removing it from Control Panel and also using the AVG Remover : http://download.avg.com/filedir/util/AVG_Remover.exe
Thank you!
