Windows 10 Installation Failure

Since updating to windows 10 I've had alot of trouble with my AVG installation, so I uninstalled it and now I get this error message whenever I try to re-install. I need some help, I doubt the windows 10 built in defender will be effective for very long if at all.

Incase the picture does appear below it said:
"Waitng for watchdog service start failed"
"Severity: Error"
"Error code: 0xC0070643"
"Error message: General internal error."
"Additional message: MSI Engine: Failed to install the product."
"@AVGMSI_Error27007"

If you have already successfully upgraded to Windows 10
And now can not install AVG
Then please follow these steps to uninstall the existing copy of AVG

Then from here to follow instructions on how to install a copy of AVG compatible with Windows 10

If necessary then please activate AVG with a license purchased from you

That still isn't working, using the uninstalling tool did uninstall it but it AVG still won't install, it freezes at "Configuring Product" and is giving the same error. Can a non automated responce please check what this errorcode means?

Hello Pat. Sorry to heat about the inconvenience caused. Do you have any third party anti virus software installed on your computer? If so, please uninstall it completely. Please also have a look at http://avgclick.me/1Jm576W . Thank you.

You did not tell whether you have another antivirus program installed on your computer
If you have another then please follow the link given to you by Avinash
to remove it
And follow the steps described in the article to reinstall

Pat, Since Windows 8 Windows Defender was upgraded to an antivirus program.
