I can not update or remove my free avg 2014 progam, it is corrupt and will not do anything

Jayne, Cannot update.. Have a look @ this article (https://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=Update-failed-or-not-working-in-AVG). Cannot remove AVG 2014 Free.. Have a look @ this link (http://www.avg.com/utilities). If you're not sure about 32 or 64 bit on your system have a look @ this link (http://forums.avg.com/ww-en/avg-free-forum?sec=thread&act=show&id=140471#post_140471).
