Hello Martin, I am sorry for the inconvenience caused. I do understand your concern. May I know does AVG detect that file as a virus? If yes, have you removed the file and sent to virus vault? Thank you.
I get no indication that AVG is detecting the file as a virus.
I when I try to run the game the .exe file is just put into the vault and I get a game error saying unable to find file. I then have to get the file out of the vault and back out into its correct location.
file is C:\Combat Mission Shock Force\CM Shock Force.exe.
both the file and the folder are in the exceptions list under options>advance settings.
Hello Martin. I would suggest that the best way is to add the C:\Combat Mission Shock Force\CM Shock Force.exe. to the AVG's Exception by following the instructions mentioned in this link: http://avgread.me/18WB2dg. Please feel free to contact us again should you need any further assistance.
I have already done this even thought both the file and the directory are in the exception list every time it is run the file is added back to the virus vault and I have to restore it back out but cannot run it..
As mentioned above I uninstalled and installed 2012 AVG which allowed the file to work.
however after the auto update to 2015 the problem is back.
Is there a way of not excepting the software update while allowing the virus database to continue to be updated so that I can continue to run 2012?

Is there a way of forcing AVG to ignore a file other than via the exception list?
