Problem with AVG Interface

For some weeks now I have been frustrated by the regular appearance of the AVG Adware Generic_r.AIG warning. This problem still persists.

This morning when I visited the AVG Security interface I was told:

You are not fully protected.

Web - partially protected.

Online Shield not protected.

Email partially protected.

Email scanner not fully functional.

Firewall not installed.

Identity not installed.

The Fix Now button did nothing to rectify the situation.

A check of the reports reveals that an update was successful at 8:34 am this morning. (Monday)

I have been unable to connect to AVG technical support for weeks.

 Please assist.

Thanks for your reply.
In the meantime I uninstalled and removed all trace of AVG Security from my computer then reinstalled again. It seems to be working okay. I did a computer scan which removed 3 threats but none of them sounded very serious. Since reinstalling, the regular warning has stopped. Hopefully that action has fixed all of my problems.

The regular virus message is appearing once again so I will need to make use of your link.
