How i can update avg rescue cd ?

I want a usb key ready tu use and updated.
It's possble update by copying the latest virus definition?

I have downloaded the "offline files" and placed in in a folder called "updates" but when I want to use the "Offline Update from directory" option and point AVG to this folder, it says "Update Failed: A .bin file not found" why is this?
