AVG INTERNET SECURITY IDENTITY PROTECTION DISABLED

I have just subscribed to the next two years of protect with the 2015 version of the above.  However, it will not update the Identity Protection saying that it is disabled.   I cannot seem to fix this. Can anyone help please.  I am using Windows XP.
