Windows Defender

Windows 10 has an in-built Winows Defender. Has this defender to be turned on when having AVG Protection?

Hello Heinrich. It is to keep you informed that there will be no conflicts between Windows Defender and the AVG Program. AVG Defender is an anti-spyware program that you can run alongside your anti-virus. Thank you.

Windows Defender was initially an antispyware program that was included with Windows Vista and Windows 7 and is available as a free download for Windows XP and Windows Server 2003. In Windows 8, however, it was upgraded to an antivirus program with real-time protection & this also applies in Windows 10 therefore it can definitely conflict with AVG.
