Pop-ups every few minutes suddenly

I have had the setting for pop-ups at every 3 days for a long time. Today I'm suddenly getting pop-ups about every 10 minutes. I have checked the setting and it is still showing every 3 days so what is going on?

Hello idiots from AVG IM RECEIVING theese spams messages every 10 minutes what is going on idiots ? I uninstall and im gonna find new antivirus you scumbags

Sorry to hear about that. Are you using a free version or a paid version of AVG? Did you set the frequency of campaign pop ups in AVG as suggested above? We would be able to assist you better if you could share a screenshot ( http://avgclick.me/getscreenshot ) of the pop up you are receiving. Thank you.
