Error code:0xe001f98d

I can't intall AVG anti virus FREE i keep getting this error code:

0xe001f98d

The avg remover does not find any avg product on my computer. I have completly removed all avg files from the following folders: temp,%temp%,%appdata%,%programdata%.
Is there any way for me to get AVG back and running on my pc?

i am also having this issue. I have a paid subscription but get this error when i try to download it to my surface tablet.

I am also struggling with this issue and have sadly not heard back from support on my support case so I came back here, I have tried everything on every single one of these support sites in an attempt to fix the issue as I wish to reinstall AVG FREE software: https://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?l=en&urlName=How-to-uninstall-AVG            https://support.avg.com/answers?id=906b0000000Dab4AAC         https://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?l=en&urlName=How-to-uninstall-AVG          none of which have solved my issue. I am on windows 10, have tried AVG remover tool (didn't detect it but I ran it 3 times anyway to be sure and had no luck) and i have also tried to use the AVG_ResetAccess.exe tool (yet again to no success). I have also removed all AVG files manually from: temp,%temp%,%appdata%,%programdata%. if a member of the community has any idea how i can fully uninstall AVG so that i can reinstall it then that would be perfect or if a member of the support team could help me out here i would really appreciate it. Hello Raul,
I apologize for the inconvenience caused. Please run AVG clear tool and AVG remover tool to remove AVG traces from your PC:
1. Use the link https://share.avg.com/steam/PSP/AVG2017/AVG_Clear.exe to run the AVG Clear tool.
2. Open the AVG Clear tool, click Yes in the User Account control dialog.
3. Click No in the Windows safe mode dialog.
4. Select the installed version of AVG and also check the box 'Uninstall AVG Zen'. Then click Uninstall, and Restart computer.
5. To run AVG remover tool please follow this link: http://avgread.me/1DEtNP0 .
To reinstall AVG Ultimate, please use this article http://avgread.me/19OHofR .
If the issue persists, please share the screenshot to provide better assistance.

Hello K Vn,
I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues with AVG Antivirus Free installation. In this case, I request you to remove AVG completely along with any previous traces using the AVG clear tool/AVG Remover tool and then do a fresh installation of AVG Antivirus Free. Please download AVG Remover tool (http://download.avg.com/filedir/util/AVG_Remover.exe), run the downloaded file, select all AVG programs and click remove (or click run anyway), please ignore the restart (if AVG remover tool ask for a computer reboot), please download  AVG clear tool (https://share.avg.com/steam/PSP/AVG2017/AVG_Clear.exe), click NO (if it's ask for safe reboot), select AVG Zen box, click on remove. Please reboot your computer once, when AVG Clear tool ask for a computer reboot. After reboot, please follow the instruction (http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=Download-and-install-AVG-AntiVirus-Free) to install AVG Antivirus Free 2017.

I too am having this problem 0xe001f98d I have removed aall traced of AVG and deep scan to find any hidden files None found yet I still get this error code this should have been resolved before any upgrades were released ..... I have now no AVG cover and I purchased Ultimate .. Helps
