Options menu

Hi.

I'm using AVG free version 17.  I wanted to turn off the annoying popups that AVG insists on displaying several times a day.  I saw a support topic that said to go into advanced settings under options menu.

I look at my AVG Antivirus screen (NOT Zen) and there is no options menu in the upper right.  Only a menu dropdown and that does not take me to advanced settings.  How do I get to advanced settings?

Thank you.

Scott

This campaign popups cannot be stopped as it is our only way for marketing our latest programs. We request our customers to ignore such popups if they aren't interested to try it.

I'm using the paid version of AVG and my subscription goes on until 2019. If this problem is not solved I'll be gone long before then. Can no longer disable temporarily and it duffs up saving in Excel. Infuriating. Why change something that's worked fine for years?

No good R clicking in tray. That doesn't bring options up, either.
