Serious Issues with New Version OF AVG

I have been using AVG for over 8+ Years, however these recent years have been really horrid for me with AVG...

I called into AVG once and asked them how I upgrade my License, and got put over to Tech Support who of which by the way ended up messing up my PC because I gave them "Remote Access" and "AVG" detected a virus and they decided to click delete even after I told them to ignore all the warnings it was popping up...

Like within the Last 3 days my other family members computer got a new AVG update, and it no longer allows anyone to "Block By Application" through FireWall, while I like the update because it allows some more advanced settings so it seems which is great I need the option like i nthe older verson of AVG to "BLOCK BY APPLICATION" Because on my computer except for my family members computer who doesn't know what options to choose, I manually click Allow or Deny on every application that tries to access the internet unless its something I use like my browser it has to ask.

There are certain programs I don't want to communicate with the internet, for example I play asain MMORPG games, and a lot of times (WITHOUT CONSENT)
they try to install Xing Code, or Game Guard Root Kits onto my system which have been deemed safe BY AVG, and Other Anti Virus companies because they register as Anti Cheats, However I do not trust these as a result AVG has put my computer and its security at risk by Automatically updating AVG without even knowing, Changing my Fire-Wall settings, and exception / deny lists, and if I would have Launched any game with this additional software it would have installed without consent.

TL:DR Version?

I want the ability to "BLOCK APPLICATIONS" from Fire-Wall, and to be asked (EVERY TIME) something wants to communicate with the internet (NOT by Exceptions List that AVG uses to determine if something is bad.

Edit:
When I called AVG tech support to ask how I could down-grade they told me it wasn't possible, they wanted to Remote Access, my computer again, and I told them no I have been building computers for over 10 years, and I know what I am doing generally, But it seems that not even AVG tech support is familiar with the new Anti Virus, or what its functions are Because everyone else is telling me this function was removed, as well as other posts and forums about it...

Now on my personal computer, I have blocked AVG from downloading (ANY UPGRADES) because I don't want this new version on it which also puts my computer at risk, and I will be looking for another Anti-Virus, if my other family wants to keep using AVG that is fine but I won't if this isn't able to be fixed.

Hello Timothy,
We regret to hear about the inconvenience caused. Since we updated our AVG programs to 2017 version, it is not possible to install the older version of 2015 or 2016. The older version virus definitions were not up to date and you won't be able to have the complete protection without new updates. The new updates will be available only for AVG 2017 versions.
The Firewall settings are changed in the new version, however our developers are working on adding the Block & Add features in the new version. Please wait until our next update, this will be fixed in our upcoming updates. Thanks for your understanding, we will certainly look into this. Thank you!

Hello Timothy,
We regret for the inconvenience. You can change the settings in Firewall by customizing in the new version. Also please click the link http://www.avg.com/us-en/product-feedback  to submit the product feedback. Our developers team will analyze it and try to fix it in the next update.
Thank you.

Hello Timothy,

Thank you for submitting the feedback. You can add the application's .exe file in the Firewall Exception by following the instructions below.

1. Open the AVG Internet Security from the AVG Zen window.
2. Click on the Menu-> Settings -> General
3. Expand the "Exceptions" and add the application path that you would like to add.

Thank you.

Awesome thanks, any idea on a possibility for about how long it will be for an update, because not having these features so far has put my computer at risk itself for Rootkits from certain games I install and try out from other countries a lot of them like to install them and AVG, Norton, and McAfee all accept them unless you manually havev it setup to block them which is how I have my 2016 version on my other computer setup currenctly, but the 2017 Auto Update on another PC and caused problems.

Actually I was looking in AVG, where it lists the component and saw that it actually has "Application Rules setting" if you click the down arrow on the Fire-Wall I never checked this, so this isn't as bad although I do find that the AVG still does Auto Decide on application rules when changing it to "Ask" but i check under application rules and it still has auto decide.
