email ssl certificate fail

Ever since the new program update I can not access my email using Eudora. I tried to import the certificate but it still fails on unknown error

We are sorry to hear this. Please try to disable AVG Free Anti virus using this article ( http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-use-Passive-Mode ) and check if your email client works fine.

Email works fine when AVG is disabled.

Thank you for checking it for us. We would request you to disable scanning of e-mails using SSL encryption.
To disable SSL scanning, navigate through this path on your AVG program: "AVG Internet Security> Menu > Settings > Components > Email protection > Customize > SSL scanning > uncheck "Scan SSL connections" option".

I went back and went through the certificate trust and install process again and now it appears to be working.
