Every time I run a computer scan with AVG, it always picks up a trojan horse SCGeneric2.COAT. It's always under the c:\Windows\System32\svchost.exe (4228)
Doesn't matter how often I scan, what I do, AVG will always seem to detect this and "remove" it. I've used different anti-virus and anti-malware programs to see if they pick up the issue, but they've detected nothing. Only AVG seems to be having an issue with this. Which makes me wonder if this is a false positive, as this seems to be the legit svchost.exe in the correct folder.
I've looked around for answers, but have found nothing (anything relating to svchost.exe being a virus was always located in a different folder, i.e. not in system32). Hoping someone might shed a bit of light on this.
