Powershell.exe is a type of EXE file associated with Windows 7 Home Premium developed by Microsoft for the Windows Operating System so it seems like a false positive. Please share a screenshot of the AVG detection to assist you further. You can post the screenshot here in your topic. Click on 'Answer' & then click on the 'Image' [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions.

Thank you for providing screenshot. This seems to be a false detection by AVG Free Antivirus. Hence please add that file to AVG exception list as per the steps mentioned in this article ( http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-make-exclusions-from-all-scans-and-shields ) and this will be a temporary fix. For the permanent fix, please report the false detection by AVG at https://www.avg.com/submit-sample . Our developers will check that and whitelist that file from AVG virus definitions.
I request you to check whether powershell.exe application is set to run on system startup.
To check this please follow the steps as mentioned in this link: https://www.howtogeek.com/74523/how-to-disable-startup-programs-in-windows/ .
If powershell.exe is listed then please click on it select "Disable" option.
Please make sure that you do not disable any other applications.
